We left Radium with the weather getting cooler, actually colder the closer we got to Lake Louise. The drive was beautiful with new snow on the mountain tops and showers lower.
The campground was large with two sites together and lots of space between. There were showers when we arrived but not enough to slow us down much.
The next day was overcast, spitting rain, but nice for hiking.
We started at Lake Louise and hiked 5 1/2 miles to the tea house at Lake Agnes, a 1,300 ft. climb with beautiful views and cold winds!
Later that day we drove to Moraine Lake and hiked along the shore.
The following day the weather changed again, it’s the mountains, and we had sunny and warm conditions. Before heading to Takakkaw Falls, we stopped by Lake Louise for a sunny image.
Takakkaw Falls in in Yoho National Park, a 30 minute drive from Lake Louise. We hiked from Takakkaw to Laughing Falls, a couple hours up,the trail. Here are some images from the hike.
